Popoola said the PCU board paid the courtesy visit to congratulate the governor and enjoined him to facilitate the release of Certificate of Occupancy of the university’s site.

Ola-Makinde led other ministers of God in the team to pray for Makinde to be successful in office.

Makinde, in his address, described education as the bedrock of development, saying his administration planned to open up every sector in the state.

“This visit is instructive because it came at a time a university in Botswana plans to visit the state. We will ensure that the delegation from the university visits the PCU to establish a relationship that will impact meaningfully on the progress of Oyo State,” he said.
