The Deputy Rector in charge of academics of the Lagos State
polytechnic Mr Nurudeen Tajudeen has assured a team of student union leaders
lead by the Students union president Comr Dauda Ajani Lawal that the management
is doing everything possible to make sure that academic activities resume by
next week.
The students were addressed by both the Deputy Rector and
the schools PRO Mr Olanrewaju Kuye.

They mentioned that
strike actions are inevitable and that there are negotiations on going at the
state level to make sure the issue is resolved.
The students union president Comr Lawal Dauda standing on
the mandate of the students as a whole gave the management an ultimatum of
Tuesday 2nd of May 2017 to resolve the issue or else the students union would
take their action to the next level.
