A fast rising advertising agency, Noah’s Ark has added two
major accounts to its list of portfolios as a business. The two accounts which
include; Sealy Posturepedic and Three Crown Milk were won after a keenly
competitive pitches held recentyl. For the Three Crown account, it was a battle
between Noah’s Ark, DDB, another foremost agency in Nigeria and an undisclosed
agency.
Unlike other pitches where winners were announced after
evaluation of contestants presentation, the management of the Friesland
Campina which owns the brand decided to
transfer the decision making responsibility to the consumers after which the
agency was finally settled for.
In the case of the Posturepedic account, no detail
concerning the number of agencies that participated in the pitch was made
available as the source maintained to keep it under wraps. However, although
the financial terms involved in the contracts were not revealed, a source in
the agency pointed out that the pay check for the accounts was a good bargain.
The source noted that one of the accounts whose pitch was
conducted around September had its terms fully agreed upon around October and
was ready to hit the ground running with different campaigns for the account
come January next year.
The source further said that as part of the excitement that
greeted the new portfolio, one of the accounts would afford the agency the
opportunity to prove its capability as one that is ready to compete favorably
at the global stage since the brand remains one of the biggest renowned brands
worldwide.
It would be recalled that the new generation agency which
came on board few years ago had won the heart of many stakeholders based on its
record of performance as well as exciting works done under its purview not too
long after announcing its arrival.
Presently, the creative agency handles blue chip accounts
such as Indomie, Dulux and Gotv among others.
Speaking at the end of the-year-review press briefing held
in his office in Maryland,Lagos, the group managing director of the company,
Mr. Lanre Adisa explained that the fact that clients were beginning to
appreciate its effort as a business
despite the short period of coming on board is an indication that it has grown
remarkably well. He noted that the company would continue to strive in ensuring
that creativity which forms its bedrock does not die as he remained committed
to creating healthy environment for it to thrive.
Meanwhile, following a significant contribution to the
development of the agency, the management of Noah’s Ark Limited has elevated the
former creative director, Mr. Bolaji Alausa to the position of Group Executive
Director. In his new role, he is now expected to oversee the affairs of the
three companies under the Noah Ark group.
The list of the companies include Indigo Communication,
Underdog Productions and Noah ark Advertising. The elevation takes effect from
January 1, 2015. Until his joining the group, Alausa had cut his creative teeth
in many advertising agencies among which include DDB.
