Noah’s Ark Appoints New Executive Creative Director

The management of Noah’s Ark has announced the promotion of Abolaji Alausa, erstwhile Creative Director, to the position of an Executive Creative Director effective January 2015.

Disclosing this recently to journalists at the company’s head office, the Agency’s Managing Director, Lanre Adisa, said that Alausa has contributed immensely towards advancing the vision of the Agency which necessitated management’s decision to elevate “the cool and calculative creative egghead.”

“He has been a great inspiration to our creative teams and other members of the Agency. Like any good leader, he has shown a lot of maturity and grace under pressure. He has also been able to forge healthy business-building relationships with a cross section of our clients,” said Adisa.

He added: “In this new capacity, Bolaji will assume full responsibility for the agency’s creative development and output. He and his associates will have the responsibility of charting the path of Noah’s Ark creative course, going forward.

“Beyond creative responsibilities, he will also be working with Victor Oyarero, the agency’s Executive Business Director to ensure the Agency stays in the top league of our industry with regards to the size, quality and profitability of our business.”

Until recently, Alausa was the creative director of the Noah’s Ark, Lagos Nigeria. He graduated from Yaba College of Technology and majored in painting.  He started his advertising career with Rosabel Leo Burnett in 2006 and had a year stint with the Ikeja agency. In 2007, Alausa moved to Casers group’s DDB Lagos and did a five-year stretch with the agency before he moved over to Noah’s Ark in 2011 as Associate Creative Director.
