The Peoples Democratic Party on Monday applauded the Governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade, for his outstanding performance at 52 years.
The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan, said this in a statement in Abuja.
The party said it joined the people of the state to celebrate the 52th birthday of the governor who it described as an ingenious bureaucrat and excellent administrator.
According to the party, Ayade’s performance had left no one in doubt on why he was elected as a senator in 2011 and a governor in 2015 and 2019, consecutively.
Ologbondiyan said, “The PDP congratulates Ayade and pray God to continue to bless him with good health.”
