A National Coordinator of Igala-Bassa Alliance for Buhari Continuity, Umar Akwu, on Sunday described President Muhammadu Buhari as the most credible leader that the nation has ever produced.
Akwu said this while speaking with journalists in Lokoja, Kogi State capital.
He said the Igala-Bassa–speaking people of the state would vote massively for Buhari next year.
He said Buhari’s re-election would enable him to consolidate restoring the country’s dignity.
The APC chief said it would take God-fearing leaders in the mould of Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo to rescue the country “from the hands of the abductors and return it back on its tracks.”
“Nigerians cannot continue to be managed by Yahoo-Yahoo people, whereby every government property will be cornered by those entrusted with power.
“We are appealing to the Igala-Bassa–speaking people of Kogi State not to be carried away by the bureau de charge operators disguising as leaders,” he added.
