An expert in the tourism sector in Nigeria, Prince Yemis Adedoyin Shyllon has called on the federal government to come up with national policy on tourism.
He noted that the policy needs to be published and made available for everyone by the federal government.
Prince Yemisi stated this today at the on going Tourism Innovation and Development Advantage (TIDA) 2018 conference organised by SKYViEW Communications.
He noted that tourism is sustainable and we need to focus on it especially with the high population of the youth.
According to him, we must respect and love our culture without this we can't promote or transform the tourism sector.
"We don't know anything about our culture and we are talking about tourism, we are just wasting our time. We cannot develop tourism with foreign culture. Countries that developed their tourism sectors have done it with their cultures," he noted.
