While re-stating the company’s unwavering commitment to boosting the nation’s economy through innovative products, the Nigerite boss noted that the new technology, which cost close to N2 billion to put up, would go a long way in revolutionising the nation’s built industry through its cost-effectiveness and ability to get a whole building ready in a record time.
According to him, the last two years had seen the company showcasing the new system to building professionals and contractors as a viable alternative to the traditional wet construction method.
He further stated that the company had put all measures in place, from raw materials machinery, factory, personnel and training, to ensure that the unique building solution is introduced in the second quarter of 2015.
“The introduction of Dryco, we believe, is our own support to the Federal Government in its task of reducing the over 20 million housing deficit in the country.
“Besides, it will enhance the government’s job creation programme since a lot of artisans and suppliers will be trained in the management of the new technology which is already in existence in Indonesia and some advanced countries all over the world,” he argued.
He also expressed the belief that the introduction of the new building solution would go a long way in averting incidents of building collapse in the country since the pre-fabricated materials that would be used must have been approved by relevant regulatory bodies and professionals in the industry.
