Africa's Young Entrepreneurs empowers 9000 entrepreneurs in 4years

AYEEN 2017 beneficiary gets a whopping sum of N1million from Mrs Folorunsho Alakija in appreciation of his artistic efforts at the # NWG conference yesterday

The largest network of entrepreneurs in the world, Africa's Young Entrepreneurs (A.Y.E) has created 9000 entrepreneurs in the last four years.



The Chief Executive Matron of the foundation, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija said this yesterday at the Network with the Giants Conference held in Lagos.


She said that this feet made A.Y.E the largest network of entrepreneurs in the world.



According to her, the TV show of A.Y.E can boost of 33millon views in nine TV stations.



Like the last year's edition, 500 entrepreneurs were also empowered this year.



The lucky beneficiaries were meticulously screened from a pool of thousands by a panel of local and international judges after going through their business ideas and proposals that cut across major sectors of the nation’s economy.



Mrs Alakija said that the 500 entrepreneurs have shown passion, tenacity, zeal and determination to succeed and that was why they were empowered with millions of naira to fulfill their dreams, adding that A.Y.E has forged ahead to become big creation of jobs.



"We need to be productive and creative more jobs in the private sector in Nigeria to support the Federal Government. A.Y.E challenge governments at various levels to be at the fore front of entrepreneurship," she stated.
